When obstacles pop up, we steer around them

Prez Says Rotary Club of Westerville

I just got back from the Rose Bowl Parade. There was an unexpected glitch when a float caught on fire. It was cold in southern California that day, but they were not setting the floats on fire to stay warm. It was an unexpected turn in a well-planned event.

That is likely what will happen to you in 2019. You are making resolutions and plans and the world will throw a curve and put roadblocks in the way.

In the 2019 Rose Parade, they cleared a path by the troubled float and the marching bands and other floats steered around the blockage.

We must do the same. The Rotary Club of Westerville looks forward to blazing (pun intended) new trails for 2019 together with you Westerville.

Dave Krebs is the 2018-19 President of the Rotary Club of Westerville.
